About us
Our Story: Locally Owned Since 1999
From one person cleaning homes in Winterville to a trusted team caring for offices, medical facilities and the SkySuites at the University of Georgia.
How It Started
C&C Janitorial began serving the Athens and Winterville area in 1999 as a residential cleaning service run by one person, Charmaine Broughton. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Charmaine came to Winterville in 1995. Only four years later, she decided to embrace the American dream and start her own cleaning business.
As time passed, Charmaine's work ethic and attention to detail earned her a steady stream of referrals from satisfied customers, which led to ever-increasing demand for her services.
Where We Are Today
Charmaine steadily grew the business and branched out into commercial cleaning with the same result: satisfied customers. C&C Janitorial Services now specializes in every aspect of commercial cleaning, from small offices to large medical facilities, and even the luxury SkySuites at the University of Georgia. We also tackle post-construction cleaning, floor care and carpet cleaning.
We are still locally owned and operated from beautiful downtown Winterville, and we are still the local friends and neighbors you can trust.

What Our Clients Say
I want to commend the excellent cleaning service by C&C Janitorial Services. We had a serious issue with accumulated floor finish build-up on terrazzo floor tile at one of our schools. C&C Janitorial was able to submit a plan and execute the cleaning that fit within our summer school schedule. The final results were great and we received many compliments on final appearance. I highly recommend them for professionalism and attention to detail and would use their services again.
Having a reliable cleaning service is paramount as a landlord of numerous buildings with many tenants. C&C provides excellent service and has an outstanding staff!
C&C's performance was excellent in every way. They cleaned every surface in the sanctuary including the high-ceiling support beams and all wood surfaces. They were flexible in scheduling, even working over a weekend. The cleaning crews were courteous and thorough. The owners, Charmaine and Cedric, were professional, easy to deal with, and very responsive to our requests. I highly recommend C&C Janitorial Services. I will use them again when the need arises.
Thank you to your team for doing such an excellent job of keeping everything clean and everyone healthy! You will be happy to know, as we are, that there was not ONE person associated within the entire construction team that tested positive or had any symptoms of COVID. In times like this, celebrating the small victories are important. Your team and the service they provided to us is a very important part of that. Thank you again!
I wanted to thank C&C for doing such an amazing job on our 60-year-old residence, which was long overdue for the type of service you provided. We could not be happier with the final results. We really appreciate your care and your attention to detail.
